Onodera Machi, a 27-year-old high school teacher, meticulously evaluates potential partners based on their careers and income, seeking a stable, planned marriage. Her pragmatic approach to love is upended by the arrival of Chiba Yuto, a captivating transfer student. Yuto bears an uncanny resemblance to Machi's first love from high school, Chiba Yuichi, reigniting forgotten emotions. Despite the significant age gap, Machi finds herself irresistibly drawn to the charismatic student. Adding to the complexity, Machi unexpectedly reunites with Yuichi, Yuto's older brother, who remains as charming and handsome as ever. This dynamic creates a thrilling love triangle where Machi is torn between the intense, instinctive attraction she feels for the younger Chiba and the resurfacing affections for her first love, Yuichi, challenging her vision of a 'promised' or stable future.
