When the Phone Rings

When the Phone Rings delves into the intricate marriage of Baek Sa Eon, Korea’s youngest presidential spokesman from a prestigious political family, and Hong Hui Ju, a sign language interpreter. Sa Eon, whose impressive background includes time as a war correspondent and hostage negotiator, married Hui Ju, the daughter of a newspaper proprietor, three years prior out of convenience. Hui Ju lives with mutism due to a childhood accident, skillfully working in court and on television.
