The Ordinary Jackpot

The Ordinary Jackpot is an engaging slice-of-life drama that follows Eun Tae, an ordinary office worker trapped in a cycle of burnout and boredom. Struggling with draining workplace dynamics and dull relationships, his monotonous life takes an unexpected turn when he becomes a lottery winner, bagging a whopping 1.3 billion won. While this massive jackpot feels like a dream, Eun Tae quickly faces a realistic financial reality check. In today’s economy, this fortune is not even enough to purchase his own house in Seoul. Instead of quitting his job and making drastic changes, Eun Tae makes a surprising decision. He chooses to continue his daily office routine but with a completely transformed mindset. Backed by his secret financial insurance, he navigates his ordinary job with a newfound sense of freedom and confidence. Based on the popular web novel Lotto Winner Also Goes to Work by Seo In Ha, this relatable series explores what happens when financial security meets the daily grind.
