The Demon’s Pursuit

The Demon’s Pursuit begins as modern couple Ling Mo and Su Ning are unexpectedly pulled into a fantastical novel while signing their divorce papers at the Civil Affairs Bureau. Their identities are absurdly reversed: Ling Mo is reborn as a death row inmate on the cusp of execution, while Su Ning becomes the doomed empress of a rapidly falling kingdom. Their strained modern relationship transforms into an ancient dynamic between a ruler and her subject. Stripped of their familiar lives and thrust into a perilous new reality, they must quickly adapt. From battling marital woes, their focus now shifts entirely to a desperate fight for survival against the overwhelming odds in this dangerous, unfamiliar world.
