Petrichor

“Petrichor” introduces rookie officer Tul on her first field deployment with the Criminal Investigation Department. She immediately clashes with forensic physician Cherran from the Institute of Forensic Sciences, their professional approaches creating a significant divide. As they encounter complex crime scenes reflecting deep societal issues, Tul must also navigate systemic pressures. A corrupt system favors influential groups, leading to interference aimed at protecting allies and societal currents that threaten to derail justice. Despite these formidable challenges, Tul maintains her unwavering integrity. When forced to collaborate with Cherran, their meticulous analysis of crime scene evidence gradually brings them closer to identifying perpetrators. Through their shared dedication, a grudging respect blossoms into mutual trust. Together, they tirelessly work to protect innocent lives and ensure victims’ families receive justice, proving that even amidst corruption, truth can prevail.
