Perfect Crown

Set in an alternate 21st-century Korea ruled by a constitutional monarchy, “Perfect Crown” explores the complex lives of two individuals bound by circumstance. Seong Hui Ju, a gifted and stunning chaebol heiress, has everything money can buy but remains frustrated by her commoner status, longing for royal prestige. To achieve this, she enters a contract marriage with Grand Prince Yi An. Despite being the king’s second son and beloved by the people for his charm, Yi An is a melancholic figure whose royal blood is his only identity, yet he owns nothing and leads a life of suppressed desires. Their unconventional union forces them to confront their shared predicament of status versus identity. As Hui Ju seeks her perfect crown and Yi An grapples with his silent existence, their journey challenges preconceived notions of power, privilege, and what truly defines a life well-lived.
