Our Generation

Our Generation is a compelling coming-of-age film centered on Cherry, a girl from a vibrant mountain town whose life is a beacon of happiness, nurtured by loving family and joyful friendships. Her world, devoid of shadows, faces a profound shift at age nine with the arrival of Jiang Qiao Xi. This enigmatic transfer student from the provincial capital possesses exceptional mathematical genius, a silent demeanor, and a family shrouded in mystery. As cold and distant as the mountain snow, Jiang Qiao Xi stands in stark contrast to Cherry’s inherent warmth. Despite their differences, Cherry, with her unwavering spirit, becomes a persistent flame, determined to illuminate his guarded world and offer companionship, creating a powerful bond that defines their journey through youth. This narrative beautifully explores connection, light, and the impact of genuine human warmth.
