Mandate

Dr. Nong, the highly respected son of a village headman, dedicates his life to serving the community as a doctor, earning widespread love and trust. Despite constant invitations from political parties, including his father’s, Dr. Nong consistently refuses, wishing only to practice medicine. Enter Wi, the youngest son of a major political party leader, a vain, overseas-educated man desperate to impress his father. Wi relentlessly pursues Dr. Nong, hoping to recruit him and showcase his own abilities. Undeterred by Dr. Nong’s unwavering rejections, Wi embeds himself in the area, devising schemes to get close. His persistence culminates when an unexpected, devastating event befalls Dr. Nong’s younger sister. Forced by this crisis, Dr. Nong reluctantly submits a political application, choosing Wi’s party. Unbeknownst to Dr. Nong, Wi orchestrated the very secret behind this tragedy, a manipulation that will irrevocably alter Dr. Nong’s convictions and life path.
