Heo’s Diner

Heo’s Diner follows a progressive thinker from Joseon, Heo Kyun, whose liberal ideas about social equality led to his exile and eventual death. At the brink of his demise, he mysteriously jumps 400 years forward, landing in modern Seoul in 2024. Driven by a search for true flavor, he is saved by a mother and daughter who offer him a new life working in their restaurant.

Initially, everything seems harmonious as Heo Kyun adapts to contemporary life and culinary practices. However, this peace is shattered by a sudden, tragic accident at the diner. Heo Kyun is compelled to step up as the restaurant’s new chef. Beyond mastering the kitchen, he becomes entangled in a deeper mystery, using his unique perspective to uncover the truth behind the incident and identify the killer.
