Doctor on the Edge

In South Korea, mandatory military service is a duty every man must face, but a privileged few medical students secure placements as public health doctors instead. Doctor on the Edge follows Do Ji Ui, a skilled plastic surgeon who lands an assignment on Pyeondongdo, a remote and isolated island that everyone dreads. From the moment he arrives on this desolate shore, ominous signs begin to unfold, turning his alternative service into a psychological nightmare. As the eerie atmosphere of the island tightens its grip, Do Ji Ui must navigate mysterious occurrences and terrifying challenges. Can he survive his full one-year term on this hellish island and return home safely, or will the dark secrets of Pyeondongdo break his mind and body first? Adapted from the popular webtoon Doctor Jonbeo by Kim Tae Pung, this thrilling medical mystery explores the true cost of survival when privilege meets isolation.
