I Am a Running Mate

In “I Am a Running Mate,” meet Se Hun, an exemplary student whose academic achievements are overshadowed by a mortifying bus incident that earns him the humiliating nickname “Erector.” Eager to rehabilitate his tarnished image and reclaim his standing, Se Hun finds a potential solution when choir director Won Dae approaches him with an offer: be his running mate for the hotly contested student council election. Se Hun, desperate to shed his unfortunate moniker, readily agrees.

However, his pride is deeply bruised when he uncovers a shocking truth: he is Won Dae’s twelfth running mate. This disheartening discovery prompts Se Hun to pivot dramatically. He then chooses to align himself with Sang Hyun, a known “walking luxury man” and the school’s prominent social butterfly, embarking on a surprising journey to navigate the competitive world of student politics and genuinely restore his reputation.
